Stop Chasing Money: The Secret Funding Strategy for Church Growth
Dear Visionary,
I often come across this problem. A problem that most leaders pray for: their congregation was growing, but it was growing faster than their budget. They were constantly stressed, trading sermon prep time for fundraising calls. They knew the apostolic call was to expand, but the financial ceiling felt unbreakable.
The problem isn't the harvest. The problem is they are trying to fund the building instead of funding the vision that demanded the building."
Apostolic funding doesn't primarily come through frantic appeals; it comes through the prophetic alignment of vision and provision. Remember the story of the widow's oil in 2 Kings 4? The provision (the oil) didn't multiply until she acted on the prophetic word (the vision) and gathered the empty vessels. She wasn't begging for oil; she was preparing for the miracle.
If you want the resources for exponential growth, stop staring at the empty offering plate. Instead, focus all your energy on clarifying the prophetic vision God gave you, and then obediently moving into that space. When the vision is clear and the vessel is prepared, the miracle of supply is the inevitable next step.
Don't chase the money. Obey the Spirit, and watch the funding chase the vision.
Grace and peace, [Pastor Graeme]
